Death of Elezaar

This is from Wolfblade Trilogy. The scene shows Princess Marla Wolfblade, sister to the High Prince of Hythria, clutching the body of her dwarf slave Elezaar, who has just commited suicide for betraying her. Elezaar, though a slave, was Marla's oldest friend, her best-loved mentor, and her closest confidante. She was simply devastated by his loss.
This scene is the only thing I have ever read that makes me cry. Fallon has a rare talent, and if you have noy read her books, you should. I suggest you start with the Second Sons Triogy.
